Director Consultant

My BusinessTechnology Integration-taking hardware, software and an organizations business process to ensure it works together rather than forcing its members to fight the technology to make it work for them.

Ideal ReferralAn organizational chief technology officer, flush with cash or budget expansion for 3-5 years, looking for a technology progression strategy.

Top ProductVSS Alloy video paging: provides a link to live streaming video from cameras triggered to notification for everything from motion to time to gunshot detection and vocal distress

Top Problem SolvedWorking with a Department of Justice task force responsible for vetting 90-150 vessels entering a port daily with a handful of analysts. Doing the work by hand required an arduous process that took about seven hours per ship. By combining Commercial Off The Shelf software, business process modeling, Government Off The Shelf software and requirements for integration code, I was able to reduce the amount of time to conduct a vessel review from seven hours to 30 seconds freeing up the analysts to conduct more in depth research on vessels, cargo and crews from high risk environments.

My Favorite BNI StoryAt a critical point in Visitor Day presentation, a bird slammed into a glass window sliding down followed by a trail of blood at which point the speaker (Clarence?) said, "Obviously, everyone's dying to get in!"

My Ideal Referral PartnerA business to business or business to government community leader that is passionate about what they do
